Strange behavior with copy after cancelling

Hello, I have been meddling with the copy function. I generated a txt file to copy a list of cds. I could load my list without a problem. Then I started the copy. For some reason I had to halt the process and wanted to restart from zero again. So I deleted my files in the destination directory. I re...

[SOLVED] Strange tagging of tracks and total tracks when transcoding

Hi, I just realized that my tracks and totaltracks tags get messed up after transcoding with xrecode. This is a strange behavior : If I have a CD with 17 tracks and fill tags track "01" totaltracks "17"; track "02" etc... in each file after transcoding foobar2000 will s...

Re: Import/export of files list

Great !

I was already using the beta but hadn't really read the new functions.

This function wil make my life much easier for the management of my library.

Now I can use python to generate automatically a list file from dates of modification or whatever...

Thank you !

[SOLVED] Import/export of files list

It would be really helpful to be able to export selected source files in some shell text file. Then you could reload a list by importing the file. It would allow to generate complex lists of files where some folders must be avoided by text editing or using an external program to generate the file. T...

[SOLVED] How do I keep settings when updating ?

Hi, I haven't been able to figure out how to keep my settings when updating so I end up resetting everything with each new version. I use the portable version (so this is probably not a problem with the installer). How can I import the settings of an older version ? Which files do I need to move ? I...

Re: How to reencode flac files with different settings

Ok I get it for the tags but I am still curious about the recoding. On the fly recoding is equivalent to : -6 flac file -> original wav file -> -8 flac file (thus no loss) ? I am curious about how this works with libflac. It seems magical ;) [EDIT] Made a test (call me paranoid) recoded a -6 flac fi...

How to reencode flac files with different settings

Hi, I am considering reencoding my flac files with the highest compression rate. I just want to be sure I am not missing something before I try, since it is going to take a few hours. So with proper settings, and an additional cover file in each folder, Xrecode III should be able to re-encode the so...
