Hi,

I have a media file player that cannot handle WAV files with the extended BWF header information included in many WAV files. I need to convert BWF WAV files into RIFF WAV files.

Is there a way to do this in XRDECODE?

You can try to convert them to WAV, i.e. add those files to the program, select WAV as an output format and press Start. If it doesn't work, please send me one such WAVfile with BWF header to xrecode@gmail.com (you can use https://wetransfer.com).

I did some tests, and as far as I can tell, XRDECODE removes the header text chunks

I even had a problem with one wav file that was not a BWF-wav but still this wav file had some unusual text strings, and they were removed, too.
