DSDIFF file meta data removal

Some of the DSDIFF files I have are with meta data.
For DSF files, it is easy to remove the meta data, for example, by using mp3tag.
mp3tag does not recognise DSDIFF files as with meta data, hence nothing is shown.
I tried to use "clear and save" function in the "meta data" tab, but the program locked up.
After a forced termination, the DSDIFF files are no more recognised as they should be.
