Re: Split FLAC Album file into Individual Songs (XR2 = easy / XR3 = "impossible")

Heh-heh... OF COURSE it works properly when you ask nicely

Thanks for the simple clarification - like brain surgery - it's easy when you know how to do it

Maybe the Tutorial could be explicit, and draw a clear distinction between the process for LOSSEY vs LOSSLESS files.

Thanks ...

INPUT: single FLAC file with corresponding CUE, containing one complete album.

Desired OUTPUT: all songs split into individual FLAC files, according to the CUE timings, with corresponding embedded ...

Re: XR3 insists there's STILL a new version...

OK, just installed the latest Beta (from 2017-10-16), and all functions behave as expected :D .

The program identifies itself as " 1.67 [Beta] ". You might want to identify which beta (since there are multiple versions between STABLE releases). Perhaps a simple Beta 1, Beta 2, Beta 3 numbering ...

[SOLVED] XR3 insists there's STILL a new version...

...when it's not.

Using XR3 this morning, I noticed the top left corner of GUI announcing " Version 1.67 available ". OK.

So I dutifully clicked the link and the popup claimed a new BETA of v1.67 was released on 2017-10-15. AFTER this new version was installed, a relaunch looks like this:

[SOLVED] XR3: JPEG error # 42 when adding cover image to single file

Well... after a few attempts, the latest XR3 v1.66 beta now works as expected !

Persistence in Bug Squashing has paid off, and I'm happy to have XR3 as my one-stop solution again for dealing with the various files I regularly massage & convert.

Thanks for the AWESOME SUPPORT... Microsoft could ...

Create Dummy (silent) Channels in MCH FLAC Output

Hi There

I wish to transcode vintage Quadraphonic 4.0 files (FL, FR, RL, RR) to current 5.1 channel format, and generate dummy or "silent" data for Centre & LFE channels.

The input files are 4.0 FLAC, and desired output is 5.1 FLAC. Will setting the Matricies panel appropriately take care of this ...

Re: XR3 does not remember desktop position on next launch

WOW - thanks for such a rapid response !

Unfortunately, my current OS is 32-bit... and your file cannot be installed.

Cheers.
