I'll use SurCode or eac3 for my new favorite music videos. I keep them all in one folder and watch them in random order, like a music channel. So I need to normalize their audio, and reencode audio.

The only discrepancy is that the output file now has a .mkv extension.
It might be better to use the standard .ec3 extension. Or just .ac3.
Although EAC3 can use a bitrate higher than 640, I'm not sure whether there is a need for that.

I'm glad I have a license for XRECODE3.

For better sound quality, it would also be nice to have the option to encode in Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3). For example, ffmpeg -c:a eac3.
Could it be check box inside AC3 button? 🗹 use eac
