Wv to DSF and DSF cue splitting

Post by Monaro »

Hello, first time poster and a quick query before purchasing.

Can I convert wv files back to dsf and does XRECODE3 split dsf files from a cue ok?

Also, if I wanted to converted from there into, say 176khz flac, will it do this lossless (bit depth conversion accepted).

Thanks in advance, Dan.

It should work. Add cue file to the program, choose extract as method and press Start.

Thanks! Didn't expect an answer until the working week commences :) Very quick follow-up on the one other point:

wv - > dsf ~ will this work (wavepack to dsf)

Brilliant, thanks for this. I will make a purchase and get cracking! Once the wardrobe and chest of drawers are built, I'm reliably informed. :D

Apologies for the delay in coming back but I have now run a few files through and I am impressed. Thanks for making a programme that actually does work as intended.

Xrecode3 is definitely worth the registration fee and has saved me a lot of time. I like the interface too, it is easy to understand and logical. I'm glad I found your programme.

Many thanks, Dan
