Audio CD to Mp3: files containing a noisy sound every few seconds

Post by Muetzenmatze »

I have noticed a noisy sound like a clack every few seconds. I ma not sure exactly since when the noise has appeared, but it is noticeable in every file from every CD I have converted to MP3 lately.
For it is an external drive I have tried to use the other USB slots, I also used the USB Type C instead of the Type A, which resulted in the same issue. I also decreased the speed to 24x wich didn't make the noises turn away. Also convertein the CD to Wav has not solved the problem
If i use Winamp instead the MP3 files are without any noises.
I already tried to turn Xrecode to its Basic settings and after this was no solution I deinstalled Xrecode and installed it again as portable version but this also did not help.
For I had exchanged my Blu-ray drive a few weeks ago I have tried it with the old one, wich also resulted in a noisy MP3.
Do you have any suggestions what could solve my problem?
I have been at Version 1.111 and have updated to 1.119 after I have noticed the noise.

Please try to enable WIO option under the CD Settings - https://imgur.com/XlkuFlU
