the new options of flac 1.4.0 32bit encoding and Encoding files with sample rates up to 1'048'575Hz are not available within XRECODE is this a deliberate decision or a bug or something waiting to be included? Thanks

[SOLVED] new flac options not available within XRECODE
Re: new flac options not available within XRECODE
is this not a bug, i tried converting a 32bit wave pack file to flac and it only gave me a 24bit file, or have i completely misunderstood the flac update?
Re: new flac options not available within XRECODE
Here's the update to try - https://xrecode.com/test/setup_xrecode3 ... _1.123.exe
Program defaults to max 24 bit in order to preserve the compatibility with the old flac, so you will need to explicitly enable the 32bit output like this - https://imgur.com/7ADlvv7
There are lot of flac players (software and hardware) which don't support (and most likely will never support) the 32bit flac files, that's why the default setting is 24bit max.

ok thank you, didn't realize that some players would not support 32bit flac.
