CUE handling is not adequate or is buggy. I have this famous disc, as you can see in the pasted *.cue

The first track being cutted because the program ignores index 00 and starts reading from 01 even if I disabled the ignoring in [Tab\Settings]>[Settings]>[CUE]>[Ignore INDEX 00]

At this point the question is: can it be solved?

And secondly to this, in linux using cuebreakpoints+shntool I can choose what to do with the index 00: {--append-gaps | --prepend-gaps | --split-gaps} so there is no issue under linux; could you replicate as much as possible this feature?

Here's an update to try - https://xrecode.com/test/setup_xrecode3 ... _1.157.exe
XRECODE 3 [64-bit] - 1.157 [Beta 2024-09-09/2536]
Ignore INDEX 00 was not working for the 1st track, it should now. Please disable it and the 1st track should not be truncated.

:P ohh great! It Works!

I have some albums and compilations with long stuff hidden in pregap. At least now I can encode with windows and xrecode too. To tell the truth I also have several original CDs (classical music, djset, mixes, ...) that also have INDEX 02,03,04 etc (each index can represent a scene, a musical passage, an act or other) If you want you could implement the equivalent features of cuebreakpoints. But for now I'm already satisfied with this.

Unfortunately I realized that doing this, the index00 of the other tracks (different from the first) are overlapped at the beginning. It should not work like this. With the option activated to not ignore index00 then you start reading from index00 and skip index01, you do not have to calculate both, one must exclude the other. As it is now in beta program, the track that contains index00 has audio overlapped by the previous one.

If it is going to be a long job, rather, make sure that option does not ignore only the first track, because otherwise it makes a mess with the others if any other index00 exists.

Please try with this - https://xrecode.com/test/Asetup_xrecode ... _1.157.exe
XRECODE 3 [64-bit] - 1.157 [Beta 2024-09-12/2540]
I made some fixes when implementing suggestion from viewtopic.php?p=3814#p3814
If it still doesn't work, please post the CUE file which is causing the issue.
