Possible bug: PNG embedded artwork is not preserved when converting WAV to FLAC
Hello,
I found a possible bug in XRECODE 3 (64-bit).
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a WAV file with embedded PNG cover artwork.
2. Convert the WAV file to FLAC using XRECODE.
3. Check the resulting FLAC file.
Result:
- The cover artwork is not preserved.
Comparison:
- WAV with embedded JPEG artwork -> FLAC
Artwork is preserved correctly.
- WAV with embedded PNG artwork -> FLAC
Artwork is lost.
- Manually selecting a PNG image as cover artwork in XRECODE during FLAC conversion
Artwork is embedded correctly.

Because XRECODE can successfully embed PNG artwork into FLAC when specified manually, it appears that the issue occurs when reading or transferring embedded PNG artwork from WAV files.
Expected behavior:
Embedded PNG artwork in WAV files should be preserved in the resulting FLAC files, just like embedded JPEG artwork.
Could you please confirm whether this is a bug or an intended limitation?
