XRECODE

Hello,

I've just installed xrecode3, after using xrecode II for many years !
One function seems to have disappeared.
With Xrecode II, you could rename the file using metadata, and constraint in uppercase, lowercase, uppercase only for the 1st letter, etc...
And I don't manage to find that in xrecode 3 ?

Here's the version to try http://xrecode.com/xrecode3/test/setup_ ... t_1.35.exe

• Rename is under Source Files Utilities button (or right-click menu under Utulities)
• Capitalize is under Metadata list under Metadata button (or right-click menu)

It should be great if you could personnalise the format of the metadata by the pattern settings.

For example, you could choose
%artist% or %Artist% or %ARTIST% depend how you want to rewrite the metadata.
So you you could have files like ARTIST - Title.mp3 etc...

It would also be cool if you brought back the ability to copy files using the pattern without doing any recoding. I'm searching for this feature now and I can't find it anywhere. I think it was there in Xrecode 2.
