Error encoding AC3 to AAC - first time trying this

I get the above error when trying to encode to AAC. [It's the first time I have tried this] NOTE- I have been thru the itunes setup.exe process, and the advanced setting in XRECODE shows the qaac64.exe in the xrecode\bin folder correctly.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.. Is the AC3 source likely to be the issue.?

You either need to install iTunes or without installing - viewtopic.php?t=30
