[SOLVED] How to convert 32bit integer WAV to WavPack/ALAC bitperfectly?

even I use this setting, the output WavPack file will still be 32bit floating.

ALAC doesn't support floating point so the output file will be 32bit integer, but is it bit perfectly?

WavPack will encode 32bit int to 32bit int (it only uses integers when encoding).
ALAC supports up to 24bit integer sample format.

I converted a 32bit int wav to wavpack, but the output file was shown as 32bit fp in XRECODE3,
and when I converted it back to wav, the output file changed to fp. What's wrong here?








Incidentally, when I convert it to alac, the output file will be 32bit but not 24bit, is this a lossless conversion?

I was wrong - ALAC can encode 32bit int files

Testing on newest version (and newest beta 1.153), it's broken again. 32bit int WAV gets converted to 32 bit float WV (all options set to automatic). Please advice
