Hi, for a while i've been looking for a tool that can normalize FLAC or ALAC files and XRECODE has been a great find so far.
I have noticed however that some files gradually decrease in volume over time after I convert them, which is something I have seen before, but they are not what I am going for. I'm sure theres a name and explaination for this situation, but I'm not super well-versed in audio.
Here's the before and after conversion of the file and the waveform: https://imgur.com/a/J9CKZ6V
I was wondering what causes this problem, and if there is any way to avoid it with settings or something within the program.
Any feedback appreciated!

Hi,
What normalization setting are you using?

[SOLVED] Re: Inconsistent normalization after converting files
I'm just using the one called "Loudness Normalization" which uses LUFS because my target has to be -16 LUFS. Would the other options work better?'
Edit: Just used the "EBUR128" option, it completely fixed the problem. Appreciate the help!
